PASSES AWAY
AT AGE OF 81

Former
Railroad Man and
Farmer Dies at Home of
Son after six weeks'
Illness--- Funeral Thurs-
day Morning.
----
Raphael Bissonette, an aged and
respected
resident of Malone, died
at
12:20 p.m. today at the home
of his
son, Jerry Bissonette, 19 Ce-
dar
Street.
Mr. Bissonette was 81 years old.
For the
past year since his health
became
impaired he had made his
home
with his son. He had been
confined
to his home for the past
six
weeks
Born in Canada, Mr. Bissonette
came to
Franklin County in his
youth
and was engaged in rail-
roading
for several years. Later
he took
up farming and continued
until
he retired about 15 years ago.
In late
years he had made his home
at 57
Cedar Street until he went
to live
with his son.
He married Miss Virginia Jar-
din, of
Bellmont, who died 17
years
ago. He was a member of
Notre
Dame Church and of the St.
John
Society.
He is survived by three sons,
William,
Jerry and Theodore, of
Malone,
and one daughter, Mrs.
Olive
MeKerracher, Cleveland, O;
seven
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thurs-
day
morning at 8:30 at Notre
Dame
Church and interment will
be in
Notre Dame Cemetery.
